Kelli skarin

Kelli is Hannah's sister and best friend.  Kelli is a Registered Nurse working at Kaiser Permanente in San Diego, and while she hasn't lived in the same state as Hannah for half a decade, Kelli still usually finds out news about Hannah's life before Chris does. This is why Kelli was just as in the dark about the pending proposal as Hannah was, Chris knew she wouldn't be able to keep the secret! Kelli is also the proud Mom of a (sometimes) sweet kitty named George.

Jeff Weiss

Jeff is Chris' brother and closest friend, and is definitely the brains of the operation.  He has been coaching Chris on how to not mess up his relationship with Hannah since before the first date - everything from how to first ask Hannah out through picking the engagement ring and planning the engagement party.  Jeff is a Senior Consultant at Cloud Sherpas (and also currently Chris' direct supervisor), and has spent the last few years living in various parts of northern New Jersey right across the river from New York City.  Jeff's puppy Roxy is the love of his life and also a full-time job on her own.

Paulette is a brilliant woman who we are so blessed to have in our lives!  Every conversation we have with Paulette is enlightening, and through her extremely strong marriage with Nicholas she has been an outstanding role model of what a marriage should look like at our age.  She is a counselor with more degrees than this website can fit (including from Harvard University), and lives right in our neck of the woods, which is convenient for frequent life lessons.

Michelle and Hannah met at San Diego State University.  They have since worked together as RAs in college, and again as professionals for Housing and Dining Services at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.  Michelle and Hannah have had so many good times together, from wine and nail painting slumber parties in undergrad, to being old fashioned pen pals while not living in the same state. Michelle and her boyfriend Jim are active members of the Pittsburgh community, from Michelle's involvement in local theater to their membership on a bowling league.

Nicholas is Chris' oldest cousin, and has been laying down serious life advice ever since Chris decided to get into Jazz around 9th grade.  He's done everything from being Chris' confirmation sponsor, to playing in his senior recital in order to graduate from college, and now to being the best role model of perfect husband at his age.

Danielle and Hannah went to college together in San Diego, and met when Danielle began dating Hannah's brother Brian.  Since then, they have been kindred SoCal spirits.  Danielle is basically living Hannah's dream, living in San Diego right near the beach with the cuddliest boxer, Charlie. Danielle is a trusted source of all things wedding and is the go to for advice on all things wedding planning related.

Brian and Hannah began working at UConn at the same time.  They immediately bonded (maybe not immediately, there were several dozen margaritas involved), and Brian helped Hannah make it through her first year living in Connecticut before Chris moved in.  Once Chris moved up to UConn, they became instant bros and have spent an absurd amount of time doing man things like grilling, making fires, and commiserating on how Hannah always hogs all the salsa.

Victoria is one of Chris' sisters, and is about to graduate from The College of New Jersey with an art degree.  Hannah loves utilizing her as an expert resource for all of her crafty projects and pinterest creations, and they both share their remorse for not getting an art history minor while they had the chance.  Hannah never misses the chance to go with Victoria to Sephora and play with makeup.

Brian is Hannah's oldest brother, and basically living Chris' dream as a fully functioning adult living in San Diego.  Brian coordinates marketing for Karl Strauss, a local brewery that makes incredible beer.  He also has fantastic taste in whiskey and cigars, and is the proud father of Charlie, the sweetest dog west of the Mississippi.

Chris' other younger sister, Elizabeth is an entrepreneur living in northern New Jersey.  Hannah loves bringing out her girly side with Elizabeth, where they both share a professional-level love of makeup, shoes, and nail polish.  Hannah and the twins have a standing tradition on "girl's nights" to split a face-mask from Lush and take embarrassing photos of themselves with crushed blueberries and seaweed on their faces

Jeffrey Skarin

Jeffrey is Hannah's younger brother, who is in college working towards his engineering degree.  He is definitely a genius, and you will probably see his name on bridge or solar power plant that he'll design in the next decade.  Chris loves being able to connect with Jeffrey on a completely logical level, and usually hang out talking about the internet or watching far-too-scary videos or tv shows.
